Darren Mann is the Founder of Tekton Companies and brings over 40 years of experience in development and construction. He has successfully managed all aspects of the process—from entitlement and design through project delivery—and has led firms ranked among ENR Magazine’s Top 100 Contractors in the United States.

A results-driven executive, Darren has overseen several billion dollars in construction projects spanning retail, education, single-family and multi-family residential, civic, entertainment, and hospitality markets. His distinguished client portfolio includes Walt Disney, Fox Studios, Warner Brothers, and the Los Angeles Dodgers. As Chief Building Officer of Tekton Companies, Darren is dedicated to upholding the company’s commitment to excellence on every project.

What distinguishes Darren is his dual perspective as both a developer and a builder. He has spent significant portions of his career on each side of the table — understanding the investment economics, capital timelines, and entitlement complexities that drive development decisions, and then leading the construction programs that bring those decisions to life. That perspective shapes everything about how Tekton operates: from early preconstruction engagement to schedule governance to how his team communicates with capital partners.
